Hi friends, Frankie has just been featured in the ‘Singaporean of the Day’ project. He is interviewee number 50; just in time for our SG50 celebrations! Here is a short write-up on this:
Singaporean of the Day is a project created by a group of friends, through conversations with people from all corners of Singapore. We talked to people on the streets, in the malls, at coffee shops, schools, void decks and even trains, to catch a glimpse of their dreams and hopes for this little island we call home. Do connect with them and share their work with your friends. Their team has put in incredible effort to showcase the stories of interesting Singaporeans from all walks of life.
Many thanks to the team behind this project for dropping by our studio for this interview!
The ASEAN Puppetry Festival is a biennial puppetry festival showcasing the puppetry arts of Southeast Asia. Held under the auspices of the ASEAN Foundation, it features a cross-section of contemporary Southeast Asian puppetry, with a combination of recognised artists and emerging voices from the region.
From 2nd to 10th November, Singapore will be hosting 2012’s instalment of the Festival, with a series of seminars, workshops and public performances at the Goodman Arts Centre, Asian Civilisations Museum, Esplanade Waterfront, Malay Heritage Centre and other select venues across the island.
